MagTek® MagneSafe® Card Reader

As a component to our MerchantWARE® payment processing solution, MagTek’s MagneSafe card reader offers merchants a secure data encryption device that provides the utmost level of cardholder data protection. Along with the MerchantWARE solution, it helps merchants easily obtain compliance with PCI’s data security standards (PCI DSS).

The standard MagneSafe Mini is powered from a USB port and can be connected to any PC or terminal with a USB interface. The MagneSafe BT90 is specifically designed to conduct secure mobile transactions using the Bluetooth interface. Also available is the MagneSafe OEM for our developer partners to integrate with their systems. No matter the device type you use, all MagneSafe readers can be configured to allow for card authentication and device/host authentication for future security requirements.
